History Of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti

Preparing for aptitudes and ability. The government polytechnic of Ado-Ekiti was set up in January 1977in Jos, Plateau State.

In 1978, elected polytechnic of Ado Ekiti was moved by the Federal Government of Nigeria to Akure, Ondo State keeping in mind the end goal to keep up a fair spread of Federal Government establishments among the conditions of the Federation.

As per Decree 33 of 1979, its status was transformed from that of a school of Technology to an undeniable Polytechnic. In 1982, elected polytechnic of ado ekiti was again guided by the Federal Government to move to Ado-Ekiti, now the capital of Ekiti State, so as to clear route for the Federal University of Technology.
